We are a small creative and graphic studio based in Prague. Our clients include both international companies and enthusiastic individuals.
Our professional expertise is the production of complex websites, the design of logotypes and visual styles of brands, as well as the design of movie and music posters. AI tools are a natural part of our process, but the result relies on our experience and judgment.
Over time, the foundation stabilized and expanded into three main areas of activity: research, family support, and public awareness. Each of these areas requires a specific approach and care.
The foundation's entire communication and identity concept has been developed at Mimatik from the very beginning. Above all, the work with text and tone of voice had to be set up with great sensitivity, as the foundation speaks not only to the general public but also to parents of children in a situation similar to the one the Chovanec family found themselves in. The visual identity is closely tailored to its target audience.
The website is the centerpiece of the communication, complemented by social media and media outreach (PR in collaboration with Brainz Narrative). The site informs about the disease and the foundation, while also creating and running fundraisers with an integrated payment gateway. This allows people to contribute as easily and effectively as possible, including recurring payments, account management, and more.
Thanks to all these interconnected activities, we raised CZK 21 million for the foundation's work in two years, from small donors alone.

The web app was developed mobile-first from the start, and the mobile app is built on it as well. Everything is geared toward maximum efficiency on a minimal budget (the project received one-time support through the Technology Incubation programme; otherwise, the founders fund development themselves).
The approach was based on developing a simple MVP, followed by gradual iterations, adding and refining features based on community feedback.
This "Strava for climbers" offers not only everything users need to track their climbs and analyze them afterwards, but also refined tools for gym owners: visitor feedback, competition management, tools for route setters, and much more.
The project also includes a marketing website and support and guidelines for social media communication.
Within two years, the app has become the standard at every climbing gym in the Czech Republic and is very popular among climbers. It is now aiming to break into the wider European market.

The biggest challenge of Petra Dočekalová's website was to design a solution covering all the needs of a type foundry (presentation, testing, sales, font protection, and back office) while remaining affordable for a young type designer.
We achieved this mainly by making full use of our own content editor XPREZ for the Django framework.
We had to step outside the conventional patterns of building presentation websites. The site targets a global audience, primarily typographers and graphic designers.
The needs of a typographic website gave us the opportunity to solve, in terms of both UX and visual design, the specific process of selling fonts, as well as testing and protecting them.

The brand also recently underwent a major rebranding, in which we took part together with brand experts from the Finnish agency Valve.
In UX and UI design, we put strong emphasis on simplicity and clarity. As a result, even a fairly complex system and applications don't discourage users, but rather motivate them to actively use them and enter key data.
Drawing on many years of experience in operations and development, we also help the alliance design and optimize its internal work and communication processes.
In marketing, we focus on two directions: internal (from the global headquarters to alliance members) and external (toward C-level executives of current and prospective clients).
For these purposes, we have conducted several qualitative research studies with managers, directors, and users around the world, based on the Human-Centered Design methodology.
One of the key projects is the development of a scalable solution for building websites for individual members.
These websites draw on the data, intelligence, and visual style of global Kestria, while offering maximum personalization and enabling dual branding.
The success of this solution is reflected in the fact that 80% of alliance members have already adopted it.

We started with a process based on the Human-Centered Design methodology. It helped us define what sets Dworkin apart from other IT companies and formulate the key messages that the entire communication and website content were then built on.
The new identity is built on illustrations by Ivan Svárovský. In a field dominated by a dry, technical visual language, they bring a distinctive hand and a human touch.
As part of the rebranding, we designed a new logo that gives the brand a clear, stable anchor alongside the expressive illustrations. The illustrations run through all of the brand's touchpoints, from the website to other applications.
The new website builds on the identity. We designed its UX and visual design, prepared the content (built on our XPREZ editor), and also handled the coding and programming.
The new identity shifted how the brand is seen, internally as well as by external clients.

That is how the open-source visual editor XPREZ came about. From the start, we developed it based on the concrete needs of content managers on one side and developers on the other.
Thanks to its modular architecture, it offers complete management of page content directly within the Django admin.
We designed the editor to let developers maintain the core rules of the visual style while keeping a high degree of flexibility for users.
The XPREZ visual editor can be easily scaled with additional modules and features. A dedicated MCP interface and an interface for building entire pages with an AI agent are also in development.
